The Martini Foundation will support the preservation of civic and historic buildings, recognizing that these structures serve as anchors for community identity — connecting present generations to the history and aspirations of those who came before.

The Foundation will focus on civic structures that serve a public function: courthouses, libraries, schools, community halls, and the public spaces that define the character of a town or neighborhood. The Foundation will seek projects where restoration investment can anchor a broader revitalization effort.

Historic preservation is, at its core, an act of faith in the future — a belief that what we have inherited is worth passing on. The Martini Foundation shares that belief, and will seek partners who approach preservation with the same long-term perspective.
